It all started in 2013!
Together with my wife Anne we visited cocoa plantations all over the world. In March 2014, the modest “chocolate factory” was ready for use. Making chocolate is a craft. The cocoa beans are roasted, then crushed and shelled and finally ground into a chocolate paste. After 2 years of testing flavors and building up recipes, everything is ready to realize the big move and move to the new chocolate factory.
2016 “Van Dender Chcocolade” is a fact, a new modern production space with a capacity of up to 1 ton per day.
Herman Van Dender is an icon in Japan. The chocolates, made in Belgium, can be found in various cities in Japan, such as Osaka and Tokyo.
Herman has also given various demonstrations, such as the dessert for a state buffet in Tokyo.
Chocolate from Van Dender is processed into various products for various applications.
